I saw someone use this quote as a kind of illustration of what the Sabbath should be. I love Tolkien, and I love the picture of not worrying about yesterday's and tomorrow's problems, but finding comfort, joy, and encouragement in the means of grace on the Lord's day. It's a beautiful example, and encouraging to me. |
