We just finished a week of no work and school so we could do some fun family, local stuff! Sunday was church of course, then on Monday and Tuesday John took a shooting class, so he was gone those days. I surprised the kids with legos (a Prime day deal!), we played, colored, watched videos, etc, etc. Wednesday we had hoped to go to the beach, but I had a really bad migraine so that was out. Thankfully we had not mentioned it to the kids. So instead we went to the library, played, and picked out new movies. Thursday I was a lot better so we went to Bay Beach (Hunter had a dentist appointment so he didn't make it). First we did rides, had a picnic lunch, played at the playground, and then went across the street to the wildlife sanctuary which was free! The kids had so much fun there.
On Friday John offered to take the kids fishing, but they requested the petting zoo instead (Hunter didn't want to come). I'm pretty sure they would both be happy to live there, haha. After that we had a picnic lunch and played at a nearby park. That evening we picked up pizza and watched Shrek. It was such a nice time! Below are a million pictures that I took of our adventures.
