March (coronavirus) days

The first half of March was different due to John being gone all the time working side jobs for income.

I introduced them to Wallace and Gromit one evening when John was working.

"Much-Afraid, don't ever allow yourself to begin trying to picture what it will be like. Believe me, when you get to the places which you dread you will find that they are as different as possible from what you have imagined, just as was the case when you were actually ascending the precipice. I must warn you that I see your enemies lurking among the trees ahead, and if you ever let Craven Fear begin painting a picture on the screen of your imagination, you will walk with fear and trembling and agony, where no fear is."
.

Maybe we should avoid letting Facebook and TV paint pictures on our imaginations as well 🤔.

The second half of the month was corona virus craziness. Schools and church closed, no toilet paper, panicky people, shelter at home orders......

Sometimes you should just count your blessings and make a pie. 🥧

The #waupacalibrary is closed but they are offering curbside pickup when your holds come in. The kids will be excited to get their new #owlegories movies!

Chocolate chip waffles are always a good idea!

I found toilet paper! No, I wasn't hoarding. I bought some for Grandma and Beepa.

I took my first dose of Emgality on the 21st.

The couple that hand sanitizes together stays together? 💞 🤔😆
Thanks to Grandma, we had an hour long #groceryshoppingdate this morning.

March church

Little did I know that this was going to be my last normal Sunday going to church for quite awhile.

March 15th - This is what church looks like when we're all trying hard to avoid spreading germs. Pew Bibles, #TrinityPsalterhymnals, and handshakes packed away for the #coronavirus duration.
The Lord is so kind though to allow us to meet, and to feed our souls, even in the midst of all the chaos in the world around us!

March 22 -

I'm not going to lie, today we've hit the hardest part of this quarantine so far for me, missing public worship. Not going to church is HARD! But as my husband reminded me this morning, we are to be faithful in doing whatever the next thing we can do happens to be. So here I am Bible reading with Caroline, we watched church through live stream, we will do our best to remember the Sabbath day at home with our children, and will be much in prayer that the Lord will return all the means of grace to us soon! Happy Lord's day to you all!

Fact number 1️⃣ - we miss our real live church!
Fact number 2️⃣ - we are so thankful for internet and how we can "kinda sorta be together" in this time.
Fact number 3️⃣ - most of all I am thankful that the Lord is in control of all these things!

One small gain from livestreaming church is that we are able to "attend" the evening service which has never worked out for us in the past.
