Lord's day thoughts

Happy Lord's day from Wisconsin!
On this last Lord's day of the year I was reflecting on the past year and feeling thankful that I was able to attend church 51 of the 52 weeks with my family (a migraine caused me to miss one). I'm so grateful to have a church to attend, and for good enough health and transportation to get there! Nearly 8 years ago the Lord changed my life circumstances drastically and made me able to meet with God's people regularly. That was such a wonderful answer to prayer for me, so I never want to take the blessing of church on the Lord's day for granted!
I'm also thinking back to the last time December 25th fell on a Lord's day. I remember that week five years ago so well, and am so blessed to see how many prayers the Lord has answered since then!  And hopefully remembering these mercies and blessings, and answered prayers will help me to stress less over current and future difficulties. God does all things well.
