Kids said

Me, "Luke, you took such a good nap!"
Luke, "Thank you, Mama."

Caroline and I were sitting by the woodstove and she said, "This is so cozy, Mama. We should sit here for a couple weeks. "

Then later a conversation with Luke after he hit his sister, all about not hitting girls. When I finished he asked, "Hit babies?"
Sigh. I choked back a laugh, and explained that he wasn't to hit babies, OR anyone else. That boy! Lol.

Caroline talking to me while I drank my morning coffee, "Mama, God is a spirit, He is good, He is with us all the time and takes care of us when we are sleeping. He takes care of me, and you, and Daddy, and Grandma....He EVEN takes care of Dukie!"

At family worship tonight we sang from Psalm 45, and John asked us who we thought the "Queen of Ophir" was.
Caroline replied, "I know! I think it's Dairy Queen!"

Caroline watching me sweep floors, "Mama, what you need are more servants."
Me, "Servants? Just wait till you and your brother are a little older....."
