I don't know whether I'll eventually give Luke his own posts like these, but since he doesn't say much they can share for now....
On Saturdays (or any day John has off) Caroline calls them, "Daddy days."
Luke has started saying, "Elephant," of all words, lol. He's so proud of it!
He also says, Mama, Baba (his way of saying dada, and ummmmm. I think he is also trying to say Caroline.
He's started initiating playing peekaboo with us, and loves to crawl over to Grandma's to visit.

Every morning Caroline eats "drola and cream cream" for breakfast. (granola and yogurt.)
Me, "Caroline, I have a surprise for your breakfast today."
Caroline, "Ohhhhh, I can't wait to see it, mama!"
After her first bite of chocolate chip zucchini bread she loudly proclaimed, "Chocolate is good!"
I've become the mom that is sneaking squash into everything, baked stuff, the gravy in beef stew, spaghetti sauce, etc.

Caroline loves to say, "I smell you, mama."
Doesn't sound very flattering, but generally the next line is, "You smell so good." LOL.
Taking a walk and Caroline was in a bad mood, "I can't talk to you right now, Mama. I'm too crabby."

Caroline was coloring and I told her picture was pretty.
She replied, "I know, Mama."
