For the first time in awhile I did a craft project and it was fun! I got the idea for a book page necklace while browsing Etsy the other day, decided I wanted a Bible verse, and that it needed to come from my old special, falling apart Bible that I used through my growing up/young adult years. Choosing a verse was hard since I have plenty of favorites, and I wanted something that would fit right in the pendant. What I chose is special to me because Psalm 143 was our "courtship Psalm" (our church was learning it at that time, and it always takes me back to those days 💕). Also I personally find the theme of remembering that goes through the Bible to be comforting. Jewelry that has special meaning is my favorite! 😍
"I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah"
Psalm 143:5-6
