A day in pictures

My morning began at 6:45.

Caroline is up.

Luke is up. He hangs out here while we have breakfast.

Hutmeal and pancakes with crayons.

My breakfast along with swagbucks.

Crib time - part of how I get a shower every morning.

And the bouncer - the other contribution to Mama's shower.

Dressed and ready for the day.

I nurse and rock Luke before his nap.

And start the laundry. Since it's cloudy the diapers went in the dryer instead of on the line like usual.

Crib time is over and I dress Caroline.

Then she keeps busy while I get busy on the days' work.

One job was making potato salad for tomorrow's company.

Caroline washed and cut up potatoes too.

Then she colored while I cleaned the stove and microwave.

And asked me to shush while baby napped.

Then I had more coffee and made a grocery list. I was excited to see 49 cents a pound chicken legs. That's what we'll be taking to church for the next couple weeks.

24 potatoes and 6 eggs.

Luke is up and it's time for our late morning walk.

We stopped to watch "the big tractor cut trees."

And Caroline sat on her bike.

After lunch Caroline played with Luke while I washed dishes and folded and put away laundry.

She ate apples and watched Daniel while I nursed Luke before his afternoon nap.

Nap time! I cleaned the entry way, watched the Duggar interview, and earned more swagbucks.

After naps we "painted the wagon for awhile.....

Sadly I got very busy and completely forgot to take pictures of our dinner (pea soup and homemade bread from the freezer, sharp cheddar cheese, and spinach salad), and John mowing the lawn. The kids were entertained for quite awhile watching him.
After dinner  John weed eated, and I vacuumed and watched the kids.

Then we played till bedtime. Luke can almost sit by himself. I stay close by just in case.

After the kids went to bed I stuffed a load of diapers, painted my nails and we watched a show on Netflix.

By bedtime I had checked a few items off my job list!
