Free frosties and lunch at Wendy's

Wendy's was offering free frosties for customer appreciation day so we had lunch there while running errands in Point on Memorial day.

We let Caroline eat dessert first.

But she loved her burger (sau sau) and fries too.

Dukie slept through shopping at Fleet farm.

Caroline-isms

Me, "Caroline, do you want me to tell Daddy you aren't being a very good girl today?"

Caroline, "No thank you."

Me, "It's nap time."

Caroline, "I no take naps in my bed anymore. I nap on the couch and watch Daniel!"

Daddy, "Who made you, Caroline?"

Caroline, "God."

Daddy, "Good job! What else did God make?"

Caroline, "Potatoes."

Dinner alone

Yesterday John worked late which made us end up eating dinner alone after the kids went to bed. It was our first "just the two of us meal" since January of  13. The couple minutes before we got interrupted were nice!

Venison kielbasa, potatoes, sauerkraut, and salad with ranch jack cheese, and homemade croutons.

First Flowers

Caroline got her first flowers from Grandma yesterday!

Caroline and I were reading her Bible book this morning and came to the story of God giving Moses the ten commandments. As I'm reading to her she reminded me that Moses needed to say thank you. Can you tell we're working on talking nicely? LOL.
