Our "new" living room

An updated look at our living room/dining room since the inside of the addition was finished. The door to the left leads to the new entry way and the one to the right into the addition.

Our new (to us) couch and love seat.

I love the table against the half wall for holding pictures and all of Caroline's toys and books. And it's nice to have the big open floor area for playing in front of it!

I had to go wake Caroline up from her nap this morning. She had created quite the sleeping space!

My cleaning helper

Caroline's new thing is "cleaning" the floor for me. She'll grab the kitchen towel, a blanket, whatever she can find and scrub away. She's so diligent that she started on it this morning while she was still in her nightgown! She also loves to pick up her toys, I hope she continues to want to help!

Yes, we got Grandma moved over the weekend and are in the process of cleaning and organizing the rest of the house now. I have a huge 'spring cleaning' type list to get done before the baby is born. I can't wait to have everything all clean and neat, and decorated......though it may take awhile!

In all the moving and organizing lately we found Caroline's phone that has been lost for weeks - happy girl! Here she is playing with it while mama reads her Bible and has coffee in the morning.

Addition update

"All interior door installed.
Only thing left is to finish the plumbing and base trim. Then final inspection coming late in the week and move grandma into her house on Saturday. Lord willing, of course."

 - John's fb status on Saturday.  I'm so excited! Not having John have to work every evening, getting to finally clean up all the construction dust and have the house actually stay somewhat clean.......fixing up a bedroom for the babies, getting the house organized......now I just need to get the energy to accomplish all this stuff :-). Of course there will be a lot to do outside as the budget allows, but that's not so urgent so things should calm down a little. It's going to be very nice :-)

Driving to church

We never go anywhere these days without at least one baby. Lately too Caroline has gotten very into her clothes, and mine, she instantly notices and gets excited if I'm wearing something new.
