May days in pictures

John had an errand to run so we combined it with a quarantine style date night which meant the #chickfila drive through. I was super impressed with how organized the drive through was with a whole team of people outside working! This was my first time out of Waupaca since quarantine started and it felt 😥 driving past #applevalleychurch exit, and strange seeing soooo many people out and about.

John is doing his part to support #wisconsindairy farmers. Extra cheese on top of cheese pizza.

Minecraft is the popular thing these days.

Homemade rolls with pepperoni and cheese baked inside.

A big shoutout to John, the hero who drove to Walmart, bought fiberfill, and did "surgery" on Caroline's beloved Baby. She's been so stressed lately about how all the original stuffing had shifted, leaving her neck and torso very floppy, and was delighted to wake up and find her all filled up again. "I'm so happy, Mom!"

I fell down the avatar hole on Facebook and made one - this is my favorite sticker i got. 😂

Is anyone else a little tired of how lightly the word "hero" is being thrown around these days? Doing a job that you agreed to do makes you diligent and trustworthy, but not a hero. And I totally appreciate all the workers who do their part to keep this country going, but let's all chill with the hero drama. These signs at #aldi made me think of this verse - "So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, 'We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.' "

We had the Goodins over for fish fry on memorial day.

Caroline dancing for the camera at Walmart. 😆
