To infinity and beyond

We use the phrase, "To infinity and beyond," all the time with Caroline and Luke, so this seemed like an appropriate addition to their room.

New lamp

New little lamp I found at Goodwill for this table. It's almost a miniature version of ones we already have in the living room.

I'm in love with this new picture I hung up today. Before we got married John mainly had the house decorated with a nature/outdoors theme, and I've added in lots of blue and white, and scripture as time has gone on. Rocking chair

We picked up this cute little rocker of the Waupaca bst page for $10 for Caroline and Luke.

Big girl bed

We set up Caroline's big girl bed on Saturday.

She asked to start reading a story before bed. I think we'll make that our Bible story time.

We have a light on a timer and she is allowed to get up when it turns on.

What her room looks like now. Eventually Luke will be in here all the time (that's his dresser next to her bed), but for now he is in the pack and play and sleeps in there, or in Hunter's room depending on the day.

New Mirror

I was happy to find this mirror for $9.99 at Aldi last week. I've wanted a full length mirror for our for quite awhile now. It's hanging on the closet door and since we have a lot of white in our room it works quite well.

New Bookcase

Months ago John and I decided that a bookcase would be perfect for this spot in the living room. The cabinet is for the printer.

I'm not very good at setting up and decorating. For now we just put stuff on it and will "tweak" later.

I also organized the kids' room and their books.

Landscaping part 4

Dukie helping Daddy build a new shed. All the outside projects have been a little hard with John being busier. When he is home I just want help parenting! But on the other hand they have involved a couple trips where John has loaded all the kids and taken them to Menards or Fleet  Farm to pick up supplies. And sometimes it works out for the kids to help :-)
